The Contributors

The Swedish participants for the 2004 Concours International des Jeunes Créateurs de Mode were selected during a national competition held at the beginning of October 2004. About 20 students from three prominent design schools in Sweden participated in this first-time competition.

Each student designed a garment, which was presented to a jury consisting of members of the Swedish fashion and design community. This jury selected seven designs, which represented Sweden in the Grand Finale in Paris on December 16, 2004.
