Gail Berry-Graham

After nearly failing the needle arts crafts side of home economics in grade 9, Gail searched for her creative outlet, dabbling in lots of things but never finding that ‘right’ fit.  In her 40’s she decided she was going to learn to quilt despite the voice of her Home Ec teacher echoing in her head.  She purchased a small wall hanging kit and never turned back.  She knew taking classes and joining a guild would be great ways to learn, but the guild was full, accepting no new members and the store she purchased her machine from didn’t offer classes so she read magazines and watched You-Tube videos.  A year later, there was space in the local guild and her quilting took off, then her husband took an interest in her hobby and introduced machine embroidery into their lives, soon after came a long arm quilting machine.  Thankfully their new sewing machine dealer offered lots of classes and education.  Now Gail loves to share her passion of quilting, machine embroidery and software with others, knowing the importance of education and sharing.
