When 9mm stitch width isn’t enough.

Posted by Carina Thavelin

Pfaff sewing machines has beautiful 9mm wide stitches in several different styles and types. There are so many to choose from.

But if you want even wider stitches there's the category called Maxi Stitches. These stitches use the sidemotion on the machine where the feed dogs move sideways to get an even wider stitch than the 9mm movement the needle has. There are stitches up to impressive 52mm wide.

This is one of my latest favorites that can be found under the category Stippling stitches. It is almost 22mm wide.

This is a perfect stitch for adding a ribbon like I have done on this mobile case. It is created in black denim fabric and lined with felt.

A quick and easy project for yourself or as a gift.

So cute and practical. Any chance you will post instructions for this project?
