Brocade Dress

Posted by Carina Thavelin

One of my favorite things when I travel is to visit fabric stores. It is always interesting to see what kind of assortment there is and the trends in fabrics. Recently I was in Orlando, Florida and came back with this beautiful brocade fabric in grey and gold.

It has a lovely vintage touch to it so I wanted to create a dress with that feeling. I found this pattern on Burdastyle.com and it was perfect. I just shortened the sleeves a bit and made a slight change to the neckline.

I think it turned out great!

Could you please let me know which pattern this is. There are too many on their website to easily locate it.
Thanks.
