Colorful Bomber jacket

Posted by Carina Thavelin

What to do when your son wants a colorful bomber jacket in a flower fabric and you can't find one in the stores? Of course you sew it!

This is what my friend Erica did when they couldn't find the jacket he wanted. Instead they bought this amazing fabric with graphical flowers.

For cool details she added black accents, with the cuffs, collar and waist band. The piping details on the sleeves gives it a professional touch.

If you haven't tried it it's really easy with the piping foot. Both for adding store-bought piping or creating your own.

The embroidery on the back is from collection 411 Deluxe sensational swirls.

Hope you have a creative summer!
