Improvements
The new software version contains a lot of improvements. These are all made upon consumer requests. Thank you for your feedback and ideas! Please continue to give us your suggestions; they are very helpful in our work with making the best sewing and embroidery machine in the world.
Cut Jump Stitches in embroidery
The PFAFF® creative vision™ sewing and embroidery machine now features the automatic function Cut Jump stitches. This function saves you time trimming after the embroidery is completed. The machine will trim the top jump stitches and pull the thread end to the underside of the fabric as you embroider.
The embroidery designs that came with your machine have been re-digitized to include trim commands. To enjoy the benefits of this great new feature and make sure you have the latest re-digitized designs, you need to update the whole user disc by clicking on advanced options and selecting “Restore to default factory embroidery disc”.
Note: If you have saved combinations and sequences to the machine that you want to keep, you will need to transfer them to a USB-stick, then resave them in the machine memory after updating the machine.
Tapering
Combine Tapering with either Patchwork Program or Single Stitch Program. This feature makes it possible to repeat the tapered seam with the same look and length over and over again. All 9mm decorative stitches are able to taper and this new feature gives you unlimited freedom in the creative process. You will also be able to see what the taper looks like with the selected stitch directly on screen.
Stitch positioning
It is now possible to change the needle position of all built in stitches; adding even more precision to your sewing. Just one click will give you the option to move the complete stitch right or left to align the stitch with a specific presser foot or a specific technique.
New stitches
On your PFAFF® creative vision™ sewing and embroidery machine you will find a stitch category called special techniques. The category is composed of stitches created especially for use with some of our optional accessory feet.
Two new Beading stitches
Last year we introduced the 2-3mm Beading foot and with this update you will get two stitches perfect to use with that foot.
Five new Candlewicking stitches
Five new stitches Candlewicking stitches have been added that can be used with the optional candlewicking foot. There were already six candlewicking stitches, so, after completing the update, your PFAFF® creative vision™ sewing and embroidery machine you will now have 11 stitches in the candlewicking category.
Embroidery time
In Embroidery Stitch Out, the machine will now automatically show an estimation of the embroidery time for the current color block, so you know how long it takes to embroider. Quick and easy loading of embroidery designs In the files and folders view, just long touch on the design you want to embroider and the machine will bring it to the embroidery edit mode automatically. (You can also open a folder by long touching it.)
Optimize machine memory
To optimize sewing and embroidery performance you may sometimes need to defrag your machine memory. When defragmentation is required, a pop-up message appears instructing you to start the process. You will find the option in the settings menu. The defragmentation can take a while. The user will have the option to start directly or wait to do it later.
Support for new optional embroidery hoops
creative™ ENDLESS HOOP II
More creative possibilities than with an ordinary embroidery hoop!
You can create fantastic borders with the creative™ ENDLESS HOOP II. Simply place fabric and stabilizer in the hoop and with one click you have hooped your project. After finishing, just click and release the fabric and stabilizer. Slide the fabric and stabilizer forward, click the hoop in place and start your next embroidery.
creative™ ELITE HOOP
Update your PFAFF® creative vision™ sewing and embroidery machine and you will be able to use the new 260x200mm creative™ ELITE HOOP - perfect for that in-between size design. The creative™ ELITE HOOP features “Quick release” which makes re-hooping very easy. One snap of the quick release and your hoop is closed again and the fabric is tightened!
