When using a walking foot with the GrandQuilter, you have to set the presser foot pressure to 0 before you begin to sew. There have been some instances with the machines where an internal adjustment has to be made to the presser foot because it is set too tight at the factory. The way to test this would be to set the presser foot pressure to 0 and see if there is still drag on the fabric when the foot is down. If there is, then it is necessary for a service tech to make a mechanical adjustment to the machine.
