Raglan sleeve

The two-piece raglan sleeve is normally open when it is sewn in. Transfer pattern markings to your fabric. With right sides together, sew the sleeve fronts to the garment, matching pattern symbols. Repeat for the sleeve backs. Clean finish and press the seam allowances apart or press towards the body of the garment and topstitch close to the seamline. Join and clean finish the upper sleeve seam. Topstitch if desired. Sew and clean finish the side and sleeve seams.
