UPDATE VERSION: 5455_6335 (2013-10-02)

IMPROVEMENTS IN NEW UPDATE

 

  • QuickHelp improvements
  • Stitch 6.5.1 and 6.5.5 adjusted for improved stitch out quality.
  • Improvement to make sure the embroidery unit is moved only in Step 1b and 2b in ‘Precise positioning’ - for ease of use reasons.
  • Improvement to allow usage of ‘Corner icons’ in ‘Precise positioning’ in all steps – for easier check of corner positions of the design.

 

All additions and improvements from the previous version are of course also included in this update.

FOR PC USERS

HOW TO UPDATE WITH USB CABLE

 

  • Click on the link below to download the update file. You need a file compression utility to open the file (WinZip or similar).
  • Extract the .exe file to your desktop. Then double click on the .exe file from your desktop to start the Update Wizard. You may get Security Warnings. Click Run to continue.
  • The creative™ 4.0 Update Wizard will start. Follow the instructions on screen.
  • When the update is complete your creative™ 4.0 will automatically restart. Estimated time for the update is 8 minutes.
     

HOW TO UPDATE WITH USB EMBROIDERY STICK
(REQUIRES VERSION 4363-6074 OR HIGHER IN THE MACHINE)

  • Click on the linked zip-file below to download the update file. You need a file compression utility to open the file (WinZip or similar).
  • Extract the .exe file to your desktop. Then double click on the .exe file from your desktop to start the Update Wizard. You may get Security Warnings. Click Run to continue.
  • The machine Update Wizard will start. Follow the instructions on screen and be sure to select "USB embroidery stick" as the update method.
  • When the USB embroidery stick is prepared the Update Wizard will tell you to move it to your machine, start the update and follow the instructions on the Interactive Screen.
  • When the update is complete your machine will automatically restart. Estimated time for the update is 13 minutes.

FOR MAC USERS

HOW TO UPDATE WITH USB EMBROIDERY STICK

  • Click on the link below to download the update file. You need a file compression utility to open the file (WinZip or similar).
  • Save the file in the root of the USB memory, not in any folder. Make sure no other update file (.clo file) is present in the root of the USB stick.
  • Insert the USB memory into your creative™ 4.0.
  • Press and hold the Needle Up/Down and the Pattern Restart keys while switching on the machine. Hold the keys until you can read "Firmware Update Mode" on the Interactive Screen.
  • Follow the instructions on the Interactive Screen.
  • When the update is complete your creative™ 4.0 will automatically restart. Estimated time for the update is 13 minutes.
